What is a Band Crawl?
This is the cool part! A Band Crawl is where get with your friends and go to see many performers/bands of different genres over the course of the night. For Rock the Hills there are 5 timeslots within the evening so you have 5 choices to make with your friends about what you want to see and where you want to go. Performances are on at most of our six venues every 45 minutes from 7-11pm.

Why is Rock the Hills not at the Fairgrounds this year?
We want performers at Rock the Hills to reach wider audiences this year plus we like the cool factor that having the event at six downtown venues gives us. Thanks Downtown BIA for welcoming us!
Where can I find out more about the individual bands/performers?
We will post a schedule one week before the event but in the meantime most of the performers have websites or are on Bandcamp - just google them!
Where can I pick up tickets?
This is a wristband event and you can pick up your wristband at the McGibbon Hotel Presentation Centre at the corner of Mill and Main starting at noon on Saturday September 30th. We think we will run out of wristbands so please get yours early.
How much is the event?
This event is free thanks to a variety of local sponsors who are supportive of local youth musicians and events. It is also part of our community's Culture Days event lineup. Feel free to tip the musicians and artists though - they deserve it!!!
How many wristbands are there?
Due to the space limitations of our six venues there are only 300 wristbands. We would recommend getting to the event and your preferred venues early to avoid disappointment.
Who is your headliner?
Local Aboriginal band Dayfoot is the RTH 2017 Headliner. Thanks to the Halton Hills Public Library for this Happy Canada 150 bonus!
